The Majestic Rhino in Motion

This acrylic painting consists of two framed canvases, each displaying one half of the artwork. The central focus of the painting is a running rhino, beautifully captured in brown and grey shades of acrylic colors with golden highlights. Just being in the present of this artwork, one can feel strength and grace of this magnificent creature.

In the upper right corner of the painting, there is a gold-colored replica of rhinos from the cave painting in Chauvet Cave, that lights up when the light touches the paint under the right angle. This addition serves as a symbolic representation of the enduring presence of these animals throughout history. It highlights the fact that rhinos have existed for a significant period of time, yet they are now facing the threat of extinction.

On the left lower corner of the painting, you will find something truly special. I incorporated golden footprints of my older daughter from when she was just a few months old, representing the world`s children. This element adds a personal touch to the artwork, evoking a sense of concern and reflection. It prompts us to contemplate whether these majestic creatures will still be present for future generations to witness and appreciate.
